Aegis Mentari designs and installs premium rooftop solar systems for Malaysian homes under the Solar ATAP programme. No quota limits, no paperwork headaches — just decades of clean, predictable savings.
Slide to your average monthly TNB bill and see an instant estimate — system size, payback and long-term savings.
Indicative estimate only. Assumes blended tariff of RM0.52/kWh, 3.8 peak sun hours/day and a typical installed cost of RM4,200/kWp. Your exact proposal follows a free site survey.
From the first roof measurement to the day your meter spins backwards — and every year after.
Custom-designed systems for terrace homes, semi-Ds and bungalows, with PE-stamped drawings and full SEDA / TNB approval handling.
BESS-ready designs that keep the lights on during outages and shift solar power into your evening hours.
Real-time generation tracking on your phone, proactive fault alerts and scheduled performance check-ups.
Panel cleaning and roof-care plans that protect your yield through haze, dust and monsoon seasons.
Solar ATAP has replaced the old NEM scheme — and it removes the biggest barrier homeowners faced: the quota lottery.
Unlike NEM 3.0, Solar ATAP has no limited quota rounds. Approved homes can proceed without waiting for an allocation window.
Use solar first, then export the excess to the grid for bill credits — your daytime sunshine still works for you after dark.
Up to 5 kW for single-phase and 15 kW for three-phase homes — enough to cover the bill of most Malaysian households.
We manage every authority, every form and every inspection — you just watch it happen.
Share your TNB bill. We estimate savings and the right system size for your roof and budget.
Roof measurement, shading analysis and a PE-stamped single-line diagram tailored to your home.
We submit and track your SEDA Solar ATAP application and TNB grid-connection paperwork.
Certified panels, inverters and wiring installed by our ST-licensed team — typically in 1–2 days.
TNB inspects the system and installs your bi-directional meter for export credits.
Monitoring app activated, warranties registered, and your bill starts shrinking from day one.
"Aegis" means protection. "Mentari" means the sun. We built the company around both: sunshine you can count on, protected by workmanship you can trust.
One itemised quote. No hidden "approval fees" or surprise add-ons later.
On top of 25-year panel performance and 10-year inverter warranties.
SEDA, TNB and local authority submissions handled end to end by our team.
Real technicians in your neighbourhood — not a call centre overseas.
"Our bill dropped from RM520 to under RM160. The team handled all the TNB paperwork — we barely lifted a finger."
"Installation took a day and a half, neat cabling, no mess. The monitoring app is weirdly satisfying to check."
"They told us honestly that our roof shading made solar marginal — then designed around it. That honesty earned the job."
Most residential systems range from RM15,000 to RM45,000 depending on size (typically 3–10 kWp), roof type and equipment tier. As a rule of thumb, budget around RM4,000–4,500 per kWp installed. We provide a fixed, itemised quote after a free site survey — no obligation.
Solar ATAP (Solar Accelerated Transition Action Program) replaced the NEM scheme from January 2026. The biggest change: there is no quota cap, so applications no longer compete for limited allocation rounds. You self-consume first and export surplus energy to offset your TNB bill — up to 5 kW for single-phase homes and 15 kW for three-phase homes.
For a typical home: 1 week for design and quotation, 4–8 weeks for SEDA and TNB approvals, 1–2 days for installation, then inspection and bi-directional meter installation by TNB. From signing to savings usually takes 2–3 months — we track and chase every approval for you.
No. Single-phase homes can install up to 5 kW under Solar ATAP, which comfortably offsets bills of roughly RM300–400/month. If your bill is higher, we can advise on a TNB supply upgrade to three-phase (up to 15 kW) and whether the numbers make sense for you.
Very little. Rain does most of the cleaning, but we recommend a professional clean and inspection once or twice a year — especially after haze periods. Our monitoring flags any drop in output automatically, and every system includes our workmanship warranty.
Three layers: 25-year panel performance warranty (tier-1 manufacturers), 10-year inverter warranty, and our own 10-year workmanship warranty covering mounting, cabling and roof penetrations. All warranties are registered in your name on day one.
Tell us about your home and your bill — we will come back within one working day with an honest assessment.
